Iran on Sunday claimed accountability for firing ballistic missiles close to the US consulate in Erbil, Iraq, saying the barrage was in retaliation for an Israeli strike that killed two members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Syria, in accordance with a report.
No casualties had been reported within the assault, and the constructing, which is unoccupied, was not broken, the State Division mentioned.
The Revolutionary Guard mentioned it launched an assault in opposition to an Israeli “strategic heart of conspiracy” in Erbil, and a later assertion acknowledged concentrating on Israel and cited a current assault on two members of the militant group, the Related Press reported.
“Any repetition of assaults by Israel will probably be met with a harsh, decisive and harmful response,” the assertion added.
